Audacious FX tackles The Thief for JC Film Club
Baton Rouge, LA - For immediate release (4/5/24) Audacious FX is handling the Visual FX for the JC Film Club production of The Thief which will be shot at Astros Studios in Sunset, Louisiana near Lafayette and beginning principal photography 4/13/24. This production will have five Visual FX shots, requiring green screen technology and Computer Generated set extensions. The studio interiors will be exchanged for FX generated exteriors using Unreal Engine 5.3 along with Blender animation composites.
The Thief short film will be used as a proof of concept for a a full length feature film production of the same title. Ardent Flame Media will be providing traditional production services while Audacious FX provides the Visual Effects and Computer Generated images. Baton Rouge, LA - For immediate release The Audacious FX short film project, The Narrow Path, has now garnered twenty-one film festival awards from around the world, including Best Narrative Short Film from the Istanbul Film Awards and the Silver Award for Best Visual Effects from the Global Independent Film Awards. The impassioned story of faith and family takes place during the fall of Jerusalem in the year 70AD and was greatly enhanced by the photo-realistic visual effects created by Audacious FX. The fifteen minute short film called for seventy-two visual effects,consisting primarily of computer-generated fire and green screen set extensions. All visual effects were created using the Unreal Engine in combination with Blender elements and Adobe After Effects compositing.
